Job Description

Job Title : MRI Technologist

Job Specialty : Peds MRI Tech

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (Wednesday - Friday, 6 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM)

Guaranteed Hours : Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Experience : 1 year minimum required

License : South Carolina MRI License required; pending license accepted with proof of application

Certifications : BLS, MR (ARRT)

Must-Have : Siemens experience preferred; Peds experience and Level 1 Trauma experience preferred

Job Description :

• Perform MRI scans for pediatric patients in inpatient, ER, and outpatient settings.
• Work holidays if they fall on a scheduled shift.
• No on-call requirements.
• Flexible to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Experience in a teaching hospital environment with Magnet and Level 1 Trauma designation.
• Adhere to the facility's scrub color policy of teal top and black bottom.
• Complete mandatory modules, averaging 4 hours, as part of pre-start compliance.
• Prepare for potential emergency response duties during hurricane season, typically running from June through November.
• Contribute to a high-performing team at a facility with 865 total staffed beds.
