About the Role
The Hospital Medicine Department at MUSC Health – Black River Medical Center is seeking skilled PRN Acute Care trained Advanced Practice Providers to provide adult in-patient care in our new, state-of-the-art hospital.
MUSC Health Black River Medical Center will consist of 63,500 square feet with 25 licensed beds, full operating and diagnostic services, a 16-bay emergency department, and the latest capabilities in telehealth.
Job Summary
- Provides direct care to patients through comprehensive history, physical examinations, evaluations, treatments, and referrals.
- Takes part in quality/performance improvement activities, clinical research, accreditation, compliance, and regulatory activities of the organization.
- Participates in professional organizations, continuing education, and precepts students as an advanced practice provider student.
- Maintains licenses, certifications, CNEs/CMEs, etc. as required by applicable policies and state law.
