Job Overview
The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist is responsible for performing MRI procedures under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director. This role ensures patient safety and comfort during examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate sophisticated equipment to conduct MRI examinations in accordance with ACR, ARRT, and departmental policies.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort by following established protocols and procedures.
Education and Experience
To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a graduate degree from an approved and accredited A.R.R.T. program and an approved and accredited MRI program. 3-5 years of experience in MRI is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
- MRI certification required (ARRT-MR).
- CPR certification required.
- SCRQSA preferred.
