Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for diagnostic scans, including administering radiopharmaceuticals and medications as needed.
- Operate nuclear medicine equipment to produce high-quality images and provide diagnostic information to physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans and provide accurate diagnoses.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an ARRT or NMTCB recognized Nuclear Medicine Program required.
- Work Experience: 0-2 years in Radiologic experience.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) from the NMTCB or Registered Technologist (RT(N)) from ARRT or registry eligible.
- Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
