Job Description
In this position, you will closely collaborate with the Senior Graphic Designer and Director of Creative Services. To be successful, you must possess a deep understanding of graphic design and photography, be an effective communicator who values strengthening team relationships, and align with MUSC's core values of compassion, respect, innovation, collaboration, and integrity. Please note that this is an on-site position.
Qualifications / Requirements
- 3-5 years of work experience as a Junior Designer or Graphic Designer and Photographer
- Experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras; Strong understanding of lighting, including on-camera flash, composition, and camera operation
- Portfolio of completed design and photo projects
- Possess a high level of proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, with a heavy emphasis on InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom Classic
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Canva, and Adobe Express
- Strong aesthetic skills
- Attention to visual details
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team
- Ability to pivot to meet shifting priorities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- BS degree in Design, Visual Arts, or a relevant field
