Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse II will provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs and developing individualized care plans
- Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and educating patients and their families
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieving desired outcomes
Requirements:
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for most nursing areas within the hospital
