What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intensive Care Unit Team Member position at MUSC?
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
What You Will Do:
- Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to achieve desired results.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
What You Will Need:
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for most nursing areas within the hospital.
- Ability to climb stairs, work indoors and outdoors, and work from elevated areas.
