Job Title: Respiratory Therapy Department Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a department manager. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in an acute setting and be certified in respiratory therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director in managing day-to-day operations of the Respiratory Therapy department
- Provide guidance, instruction, and encouragement to staff in areas such as ventilator management, physiologic monitoring, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Collaborate with interdepartmental personnel to ensure optimal delivery of respiratory care
- Implement policies, protocols, and procedures and ensure staff education and compliance
Requirements:
- Minimum Registered Respiratory Therapist certification required
- 3-5 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute setting
