Job Summary:
This position is responsible for delivering patient care by applying skills and techniques common to the practice of vocational nursing. The Licensed Practical Nurse functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs tasks related to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provides patient-centered care, acting as a partner and adviser to patients and families
- Assists medical staff with preparation, examination, and procedure
- Performs telephone and in-person screenings
- Documents patient care delivered in the medical record according to policy
- Cleans and stocks examination rooms and/or other supply areas
Requirements:
- Graduate of a School of Practical Nursing
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the LLR Board of Nursing for South Carolina or Compact Licensure Agreement
- Current BLS certification
Physical and Mental Requirements:
The successful candidate must be able to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors and outdoors in temperature extremes, and working from elevated areas.
