About the Role
As a key member of our Outpatient Clinic team, you will be responsible for:
- Interviewing patients and collecting vital signs
- Preparing treatment rooms for examinations
- Utilizing basic computer skills to input information into patients' medical records
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited medical assisting program, preferably with one year of patient care experience
- Certification through the American Medical Technologist (AMT), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Health career Association (NHA), MedCA, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) or equivalent organization
