Position Summary :

The Staff MRI Technologist plays a crucial role in providing patient services using advanced imaging modalities and performing diagnostic procedures, specializing in magnetic resonance imaging.

Hours / Days : Monday - Friday, 3 PM to 11 : 30 PM

Shift Differentials : Work 4 hours into the shift to receive additional pay : $3.50 from Monday to Friday, 3 PM - 11 PM; $6.00 from Friday to Sunday, 11 PM - 7 AM; $4.00 from Saturday to Sunday, 7 AM - 3 PM; or $5.50 from Saturday to Sunday, 3 PM - 11 PM.

The Staff MRI Technologist is responsible for :

Administering contrast media to patients to enhance image quality.

Applying principles of radiation protection and maintaining patient safety following the ALARA principle.

Exercising professional judgment in the performance of imaging procedures.

Caring for patients throughout the imaging process, recognizing conditions that require immediate action.

Building strong rapport with colleagues, other departments, and medical staff.
