Job Description
The Registered Nurse II in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to critically ill newborns and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care to critically ill newborns and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of patient care services.
- Participate in shared governance and professional development promoting leadership and clinical excellence.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
- Associate or Diploma degree in nursing with enrollment in an accredited BSN program within two years and successful completion within four years.
- Minimum one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
