Job Summary
MUSC is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse II to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process.
Responsibilities
* Provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process
* Delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the healthcare team to achieve desired results
Requirements
* Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred
* Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) also required for most nursing areas within the hospital
Working Conditions
* Ability to perform job functions while standing
* Ability to perform job functions while sitting
* Ability to perform job functions while walking
