Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective care to patients and families at the competent level.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on comprehensive patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to achieve desired results.
Requirements
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) provider.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for most nursing areas within the hospital.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
