We are excited to welcome a new Outpatient Physical Therapist to our growing team at the Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA). This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients at our facility.
Job Responsibilities :
- Evaluate, administer, and direct therapeutic procedures in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as prescribed by referring practitioners.
- Establish and regularly re-assess physical therapy goals and document patient progress.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Create individualized treatment plans using a variety of methodologies, including exercises, manual therapy, and equipment to alleviate pain and promote recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and insurance adjusters for optimal patient outcomes.
- Supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, and athletic trainers as necessary.
