- Assist physicians with examination and treatment procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Provide exceptional patient experience, addressing concerns and needs promptly and professionally.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve desired outcomes.
- Participate in continuous learning and professional development, staying current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience is preferred.
- Certification through the American Medical Technologist (AMT), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Health Career Association (NHA), or MedCA as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is mandatory.
- A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider is also required.
