As a Polysomnographic Technologist at MUSC, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing patients for sleep studies, including reviewing physician orders and completing paperwork
- Selecting appropriate montages on computer and ensuring accurate and safe operation of medical equipment
- Recognizing sleep pathology and responding with appropriate interventions to ensure patient safety
- Generating accurate and concise reports summarizing patient sleep/wake stages, respiratory events, cardiac events, limb movement, arousal analysis, and other clinical events
