Job Description
The Unit Secretary reports to the Nurse Manager. Additional Job Description
Education: A high school diploma or GED is required, Completion of a unit secretary course or medical terminology course is preferred, Must possess the ability to read, write, and spell effectively
Experience: 0-6 months previous receptionist / secretarial training is preferred
Licenses/Certificates: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required. Certification in de-escalation training within the orientation period for employment.
