Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough interviews with patients to gather relevant medical history and vital signs.
- Record and input information into patients' medical records accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients, ensuring a safe and clean environment.
- Perform various tasks to support our physicians and nurses, including preparing medications and equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred.
- Current certification through the American Medical Technologist (AMT) or American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Health career Association (NHA) or MedCA as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
