Job Description Summary
The Dr. Charles P. Darby Jr. Department of Pediatrics Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is searching for a board-certified (or eligible) pediatric endocrinologist to join our well-established team. There are currently 6 pediatric endocrinologists, a nurse practitioner, a certified diabetes care and education specialist, dietician, and a dedicated social worker. We are actively involved in clinical research trials.
Job Responsibilities :
- Participate in the division call schedule.
- Engage in Patient-Centered Medical Home activities.
- Commit to Evidence-Based Medicine and Quality Improvement in teaching and practice.
- Work at MUSC’s Summey Medical Pavilion in North Charleston, as well as clinics in Mount Pleasant and Summerville, SC.
- Collaborate with medical students, residents, and elective trainees.

Physical Requirements :
Ability to perform job functions in various positions, including sitting, standing, and walking. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs., unassisted. Good vision and hearing acuity are required.
