The Musco Facilities Team is currently seeking a dedicated Facilities Manager to join our team and ensure that our facilities in Oskaloosa, IA remain operational, safe, and optimized for daily activities. This individual will lead a team of skilled, multi-discipline technicians, driving efficiency, safety, and a positive work environment. More details about the role are below.

What You Will Do As a Facilities Manager
- Make safety the department's #1 priority.
- Manage staffing requests and supplement project needs in collaboration with project managers.
- Schedule and prioritize daily and weekly tasks; generating and overseeing work orders.
- Conduct weekly meetings to ensure alignment with objectives.
- Develop operating budgets, track variances, and communicate updates to leadership.
- Secure and oversee external contractors and vendors for maintenance tasks and Life Safety equipment.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for team member growth and career progression.
- Assess facility equipment lifecycles, gathering data and estimating costs for future capital projects.
- 10 years of Facility Management experience, with a strong background in multi-discipline systems.
- Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and controls; PMP certification is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills for all levels of the organization.
- Strong expertise in building operations and general maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP, controls, fire alarms, sprinklers, card access, and CCTV systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Facilities Management Software.
- Advanced problem-solving abilities to address challenges effectively.
- Proven decision-making skills, ensuring timely updates on changes impacting timelines and budgets.
- Leadership skills to mentor a team of technicians toward professional growth.
