The Musco Compliance Engineering Team is currently seeking a Compliance Documentation Coordinator to work from our Oskaloosa office. This position is responsible for making sure the organization adheres to all local, state, federal, and industry-specific regulatory requirements related to the creation, maintenance, and reporting of compliance-related documentation. What you will do as a Compliance Documentation Coordinator:
- Responsible for tasks related to collecting, maintaining, storing, tracking and retrieving safety and non-safety approvals documentation related to product compliance (UL, NOM, CE, FCC, etc.), including product testing requirements, test results, certificates or reports, and standards documents.
- Assist and support the compliance team by reviewing documentation and analyzing data to ensure the organizations compliant status.
- In collaboration with the compliance team, ensure quality systems documentation is being stored, protected and available to support the Data Acceptance Program efforts (in house testing).
- Identify any non-compliance issues or areas for improvement and proactively address them to prevent potential consequences.
- Maintain communication with the EMC test laboratory to ensure results and data are accurate and ensure the reports are received within the expected timeframe.
- Review EMC testing invoices for accuracy and collaborate with accounting for timely payments.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you need to be successful:
- Associate degree in electronics engineering, electronics technology, or equivalent.
- Experience with databases and database programming required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs required.
- Experience with electronic products is highly preferred.
- Experience working with regulatory and certification standards preferred.
- Experience with records management preferred.
