Responsibilities
This role requires a high level of flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This person must have strong communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a high level of attention to detail to complete athletic field constrcution tasks. Construction Techs are an important member construction team, helping to ensure the success of each project. Specific responsibilities include the following:
Safely and proficiently load/unload equipment and supplies
Safely and proficiently haul equipment to and from job sites
Safely and proficiently operate construction and maintenance equipment/attachments used in IST, including tractors, track loaders, and mini excavators
Carry out equipment maintenance procedures and responsibilities
Establish layouts and elevations based on construction documents
Carry out safety measures and adhere to company regulations
Complete outdoor physical labor activities, including lifting 50+ lbs
Qualifications
Construction experience running tractors, track loaders, and mini excavators
Communicate effectively with Foreman and Team and follow instructions
Demonstrate reliability, responsibility, and cooperation in job site and Team environments
Ability to work 50-60 hour weeks outdoors (employees receive overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law)
Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
CDL training required after employment
