Individual Giving Coordinator (Regular, Full-Time)
Annual Giving
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Individual Giving, the Individual Giving Coordinator supports the individual giving team and their programs, focused on LACMA Fund, the museum’s annual fund, as well as patron group activities.
Responsibilities:
- Drafts letters and content for donor communications, including solicitations, quarterly and monthly membership newsletters, and other printed donor materials as needed; including coordination of the routing and approval processes
- Assists with planning and execution of fundraising campaigns
- Assists with development, data extractions and maintenance of reports from the museum’s database to facilitate data-driven decision making
- Assists in the coordination of data-based and/or research-based strategic plans for giving programs
- Manages budget, vendor payments, and expense reports for the various groups, and assists with re-forecasting as needed.
- Tracks expenses and revenue for individual fundraising initiatives
- Coordinates tours and special access for donors and serves as a liaison when needed; including travel planning and arrangements for program trips
- Coordinates membership benefit fulfillment and stewardship materials; as well as management of collateral for the department
- Maintains internal tracking lists for mailings and prospect identification, as well as maintaining the department production calendar
- Prepares materials and proposals for solicitations and meetings, including PowerPoint decks
- Enters donor pledges and contributions in the database
- Produces contribution forms and commitment follow up
- Assists with occasional donor call campaigns
- Performs research for projects
- Supports Development events as needed, including planning and participating in the events themselves, including on nights and weekends

Benefits:
- The expected hourly rate for this Los Angeles, CA based position is $23.00-$24.25, subject to change, and the position is eligible for LACMA’s comprehensive benefits package, including pension plan.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Art History or a related field.
- At least two years of administrative experience.
- Preferred experience in a development or fundraising environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Familiarity with Tessitura or Raiser’s Edge is a plus.
