Music Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Music Teacher to join our team at Guitar Center.

About the Role:

• Teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.
• Work to increase student count and ensure each student continues to grow and develop while nurturing our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
• Teach students using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Assist with customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long-term students by creating a great experience.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in music, education, or a related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in (drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.).
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching.
