About the Role :

We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist Front Desk Person for our optometrist office at Music City Optical, Inc. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with people and providing exceptional customer service in a friendly environment. We are a very tech savvy office with high quality software and modern up to date technology. We are located in a unique area of Nashville on Music Row.

Responsibilities :

Greet and check in patients upon arrival. Mange patient kiosk.

Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar

Answer phone calls, monitor office texts and respond to inquiries in a timely manner

Verify both vision and medical insurance information and properly save into patient electronic records

Assist with making routers and scanning pertinent documents into patient records

Assist with patient check-out. Must understand fee slips and how to properly apply insurance to patient's services and contact lenses.

Knowledge of contact lenses and proper sales technique of contact lenses

Willingness to cross-train and learn other aspects of optometry

Must be friendly and courteous as well as able to properly assert oneself

Requirements :

Previous experience in a medical or optometry office preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in computer systems and office software

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Professional and courteous demeanor

Must be a team player and have a positive attitude
