What are the responsibilities and job description for the Piano and/or Vocal Instructor position at Music Lab Folsom?
Music Lab Folsom is a music lessons studio offering private and group lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.
Music Lab is a network of schools in Sacramento, Los Angeles, and Nashville. Music Lab Folsom is looking for talented and reliable voice and/or piano teachers to join our roster of educators! Always a bonus if you can teach additional instruments, as you will get more students.
Please note that this position is in person at our Folsom location, and we will build your schedule as new students sign up. College students currently studying music are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Teach music lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Provide instruction in a variety of musical instruments and genres
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
Requirements:
- Experience working with students in a music education setting
- Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments
- Strong knowledge of music theory and technique
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching music
