JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a friendly and professional, full-time skilled Maintenance Runner to join the Music Road Resort family! We offer competitive pay, paid vacation time, benefits, monthly employee luncheons, and local attraction discounts.
The Maintenance Runner is responsible for preventative maintenance and corrective repairs to equipment and building systems, ensuring the resort is safe and functional. The Maintenance Runner should have an eye for detail with solid technical knowledge, be dependable, and trustworthy. The PM Runner shift is 3:30pm - midnight.
EXPERIENCE
- Maintenance experience: 1 year (Required)
- Valid clean driver’s license (Required)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be a self-starter and motivated team player.
- Promptly respond to calls and swiftly complete tasks such as unstop drains, change light bulbs, painting, sheet rock repair, and general property and broken item repairs.
- Do a property walk inside and out looking for maintenance issues, repairing any issues found.
- Do preventative maintenance to building and equipment.
- Clean out ice machine bins/trays.
- Paint touches in hallways, elevators, door frames, etc.
- Clean laundry vent screen and bag.
- Other duties assigned by the supervisor or General Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
- Experience using basic power tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to push, pull, walk, climb, lift, bend, kneel, reach etc.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Bilingual (preferred)
