What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Media Arts Teaching Assistant position at Musical Minds Academy?

With us, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Earn excellent pay assisting in instructing Podcasting courses for 6th-8th students in Lancaster area middle schools
- Learn from our lead instructing staff valuable teaching methods such as effective classroom control techniques.
- Demonstrate relevant recording/research techniques and concepts with confidence and skill, while making lessons fun for students.
- Assist in the designing of creative lesson plans that engage students and establish clear learning goals.
- Help prepare students for a rewarding chance to showcase their own podcasts.
To join our team, we require:
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability for classes Monday-Friday from 2:30 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.
- Participation in training sessions and staff meetings.
- Consistent communication through email, text, and phone.
- Successful completion of a Livescan DOJ/FBI background check and TB test.

Compensation: $25/hour for teaching hours. Training sessions and other non- instructional responsibilities will also be paid at $25/hour.
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 2:30 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.
Experience: At least (1) year or more of prior teaching experience required.
Note: Experience in media communications, special education, childhood development, childhood education, behavior management, tutoring is a plus, but not required.
