Musifai is an E-commerce site that provides musical instruments rental and purchase services for all types of instrument. Founded in December 2017 in New York City, we are a group of music lovers who hope to make a difference in the music market.
We're seeking a talented and passionate UI / UX Designer. If you're a self-starter with the ability to take ownership and the tenacity to lead the design work and guide a strong design team to the fulfillment of all Musifai products, you're a prime candidate.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with other team members in tech and business development to define customer interaction and customer experiences that balance their needs with mission / business goals and technological capabilities.Define visual elements, product elements, and overall website designExecute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineeringLead new user interface designs for Musifai's website through the full design and development cycle (including concepts, information architecture, visual design and interaction design).Lead customer experience research and execute user testing of current and future designs, collect feedback for the product team.Requirements
3 years experience in user interface, user experience, or graphic designBachelor's degree or equivalent in design, arts, digital media, or human-computer interactionExperience coordinating between users, product manager and developers to make the ideal interface a realityAbility to translate abstracts into comprehensive visualizationsPrototyping animations and interactionsExperience working with : responsive design and native app design systems (Android's Material Design, Apple's App iOS guidelines) will be a bonusHighly proficient with design and prototyping tools such as Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, Sketch, Invision, Axure, etc
