What are the responsibilities and job description for the EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR position at Muskegon County, MI?
The Executive Assistant to the County Administrator, under the general direction of the County Administrator and Deputy County Administrator, provides direction and execution of internal and external County communications, including but not limited to document/presentation preparation, event planning, implementation of innovative communications, print/digital publications, program/project support, and website updates. Provides a wide variety of highly responsible and complex confidential executive support to the Administrator and Deputy County Administrator. Substantial latitude exists for the exercise of independent initiative and judgement.
Required Minimum Entrance Qualifications
Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or closely related field from an accredited university, college or business school; AND Have a minimum of one (1) year of recent, full- time, progressively responsible administrative experience;
OR Possess an Associate's degree in Business Administration or closely related field from an accredited university, college or business school; AND Have a minimum of four (4) years recent, full-time, progressively responsible administrative experience.
