What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN/HEALTHWEST position at Muskegon County, MI?
A LPN, under general supervision, is responsible for supervising and performing treatment, personal care, and household maintenance functions in a crisis residential facility or other HealthWest setting practicing within an LPN Scope of Practice, with an enhanced focus on the Integrated Medical Model inclusive of Behavioral Health. A LPN must promote a positive, encouraging living atmosphere for individuals in service and perform related duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Entrance Qualifications
1. Possess a current LPN license to practice in the State of Michigan
2. Lived experiences with mental illness/Developmental Disabilities/Substance Use Disorders is valued.
3. Individuals in Recovery and individuals with experience in Armed Services valued.
4. Possess a valid driver's license.
5. Must have reliable transportation that may have to be used to carry out job duties of this classification.
Physical Conditions / Work Location
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
A LPN performs non-sedentary work activities requiring the lifting of objects weighing thirty-five (35) pounds or less. Must be able to perform physical intervention activities as trained/required.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
An employee in this class may work in a crisis residential facility or be assigned to clients living independently or in supported independence programs. Travel to locations within the County may be required.
