Located in Muskegon, Michigan, Muskegon Surgical Associates, PC is recruiting for a full time Patient Coordinator. Muskegon Surgical Associates has been providing surgical care to West Michigan since 1972. We are an independently owned multi-specialty practice consisting of 14 surgeons and 110 employees. Muskegon Surgical Associates provides quality health services for patients in West Michigan and is made up of numerous areas of surgical expertise including General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Hand Surgery. In addition, we have a complete Vascular Lab, Office Based Lab, Occupational Therapy services, Medical Spa, and Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Roles and Responsibilities :
Provide exceptional and personalized customer service to all stakeholders by welcoming them into the facility with a warm smile and eye contact.
Establish a friendly rapport with clients and potential clients.
Ensure quality and consistency of the customer experience by soliciting customer feedback, meeting negative feedback is met with empathy and a resolution.
Escalate sensitive situations to a member of management.
Answer all incoming calls with professionalism, friendliness, and courtesy.
Accurately perform patient check-in and check-out duties including collecting co-pay and balance collections, maintain reception area making sure area is neat, clean, and professional at all times.
Training and Experience Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Medical Assistant Certification or Medical Administrative Assistant degree (preferred).
Minimum 2 years of clerical experience required.
