POSITION SUMMARY :

The installation lead will be responsible for overseeing Musson’s team of installation technicians while on project sites. This position will report directly to the Installations and Field Service Supervisor, operating primarily from job sites, to ensure a successful job completion from beginning to end. When not overseeing installations, this position will have various responsibilities as required. The person in this position will be responsible for supervising the installation and repair of stage rigging systems, including but not limited to custom motorized winches, counterweight equipment, dead hung equipment, fire curtains and smoke hatches, pipe grids, track and drape, motorized projection screen, etc.

NOTE :

Starting tier and pay scale will be determined by the Field Service Supervisor based on our company guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Represents the interests of Musson

to our clients

through a positive and customer-focused attitude

  • Takes part in installation and repairs of stage, performance, and theatrical equipment in various performance spaces and venues
  • Keeps a

  • Attends jobsite-related meetings as required
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Acts as liaison between jobsite staff and
  • Musson

    management teams

  • Keeps accurate, up-to-date, well-organized job site documentation
  • Performs effective end-user training on scopes of work performed by Musson
  • Provides technical support when needed
  • Ensures management receives applicable documentation in a timely manner.
  • Exceeds customer expectations for service and responsiveness
  • Works with project team to develop action plans and resolutions when

    field issues arise to ensure Project completion within time restraints

  • Responsible for setting a tone of positivity and teamwork among field employees
  • Helps in the training of lower-level technicians
  • This position requires occasional work in the evenings and on weekends

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

    ETCP Certified Rigger – Theatre

  • Degree in Technical Theatre or related technical field, or 3-6 years professional experience
  • Qualified to operate self-propelled boom lifts and scissors lifts.
  • Exceptional

    customer service skills

  • Strong knowledge of various systems of entertainment spaces
  • Knowledge of construction industry practices
  • and procedures

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong degree of flexibility, independence, and
  • self-motivation

  • Proficient computer skills using programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
  • Able to use hand tools, power tools, and electronic test tools
  • Able to travel as required
  • Must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid license
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings as required
  • Ability to work within a construction site
  • and manage crews appropriately

  • Able to lift up to 65 pounds
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check after an offer of employment

    Must be able to pass a drug test if required
