Essential Job Functions
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they lead to equipment failure.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and parts replacement.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend and implement modifications to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and install new equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and replacements.
- Prepare reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and downtime.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance protocols and safety standards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to prevent accidents.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Performs or assists with other duties as requested or assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skills Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a similar role.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, reading technical drawings, and understanding mechanical and electrical systems.

Work Environment
The employee works in a factory environment and is occasionally exposed to wet, humid conditions and toxic or caustic chemicals. Individuals are occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and are working with near-moving mechanical parts with the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is loud. Personal protective equipment will be provided.
