We are seeking a skilled and reliable PART TIME Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform testing for diagnosis determination
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Phlebotomy
- Administration of injections
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment
Skills
- Proficient in performing vital signs measurements
- Knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology
- Strong patient care skills, including the ability to provide emotional support to patients
- Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively and independently
- Basic life support certification preferred
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus
