What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner position at Mustang Family Physicians?
Mustang Family Physicians is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to fill a full or part time position. We are a small Family Medicine Clinic caring for all ages and disease states, acute and chronic. We are fully equipped and focus on patient satisfaction. We are not owned or affiliated by any other clinic or hospital system.
Our hours are 8-5 Monday through Thursday and 8-4 on Fridays. It is low pressure, and our providers see no more than 3 patients per hour, so we have time to do a good job with each patient. We prefer a provider competent and comfortable to see all ages, but we can arrange the schedule accordingly for a provider not comfortable seeing the babies or very young children. Our physician is an expert in a large array of outpatient procedures, so you will have the opportunity to do as many of these as you are comfortable with, or none, if you prefer to defer all of those to him. Our physician has an extensive teaching background and is eager and willing to teach you any new things you wish to learn.
We are small and cannot outbid the big hospital entities, but we are highly competitive in compensation and other “perks.” Most importantly, we can offer you more flexibility and an excellent family environment to have some fun at work.
If you are looking for an opportunity to have unlimited autonomy in your practice while also having unlimited support from your collaborating physician, please inquire with us. Your opportunities here could be endless, as we are always open to new ideas and methods, and we love to have individuals who want to come in and help grow or improve our services.
