WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are currently seeking for an Inventory Clerk is responsible for verifying and organizing received inventory materials, ensuring accurate stock levels, and facilitating efficient warehouse operations. This role involves meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
DAY IN THE LIFE OF:
As a Inventory Clerk, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform weekly cycle counts and analyze discrepancies, generating and releasing cycle counts as necessary.
- Maintain monthly cycle count quota as required by Warehouse Supervisor.
- Process and receive all transfers, verifying counts prior to receipt.
- Provide support for value-added services such as customer labeling.
- Perform putaway for transfers, work orders, and other inbound shipments as needed.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization through effective logistical preparations for inbound shipments.
- Assist with order picking and shipping activities as required.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance on labeling issues or rework while maintaining accurate inventory counts.
- Assist with loading and unloading of carriers when necessary.
- Manage transfer paperwork and documents accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all safety regulations and reporting hazards, injuries, and accidents to the supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
1-2 years of experience in inventory or related field.
- Forklift experience.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Adaptability and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
