MUSTEC is now recruiting for a technician in the Baton Rouge area. Although this is a part-time role, we expect it to become full-time in the coming months.

Responsibilities:
Perform Vascular Ultrasound Carotid Duplex tests and Transcranial Doppler Tests.
Ensure Image Quality and Accuracy: Utilize advanced ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images, ensuring accuracy in diagnostic assessments.
Collaborate with Healthcare Team:*Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals at clients locations to discuss patient histories, review preliminary findings, and contribute valuable insights to the overall diagnostic process.
Maintain Compliance: Adhere to industry standards, regulations, and guidelines to ensure compliance with established protocols and safety measures. Uphold ethical and professional conduct in all interactions.
Document and Record Findings: Accurately record and document ultrasound findings, patient data, and relevant information in the HIPPA compliant portal for national radiology company to conduct interpretations
Patient Care and Communication:Provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures, addressing patient concerns, and ensuring a comfortable and informed experience throughout the ultrasound examination.
Continued Education and Training: Stay abreast of advancements in vascular sonography through ongoing education and training. Actively seek opportunities to expand skills and knowledge in new modalities and technologies.
Travel Requirements: Be flexible when traveling as needed, primarily in Baton Rouge.
Uphold a clean and professional work environment while strictly adhering to all Company Policies and Procedures, encompassing guidelines for computer use, personal devices, dress code, communication protocols, and other relevant standards.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an accredited vascular sonography program.
- Current ARDMS
- RVS, RVT, or NVS is preferred
- State licensure as required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
