What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipe Layer/Laborer position at Mustin Pipeline Construction, Inc?
In search of Construction Laborers in the Ag Industry. We are a small Ag construction company that does new install, repairs, and maintenance of dairy and farm pipelines.
We are looking for a hardworking and honest individual who is:
- Motivated and eager to work
- Ready and willing to learn new skills
- Willing to help with all different types of tasks throughout the day whether it be running parts, laying pipe, greasing equipment, grade checking, etc.
- Punctual
- Honest and takes pride in their work
- Knowledgeable with many different construction hand tools used on jobsites
Job Duties Include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting operators and work with other members of the construction crew to complete tasks
- Driving a tractor, excavator, water truck, forklift, etc.
- Lay pipework and put together as instructed
- Cut pipes to required lengths
- Locate existing pipes needing repair or replacement
- Prepare construction sites before projects and clean-up sites upon completion.
- Dig trenches and ditches with a shovel or equipment to desired depths
- Level and compact ground according to site plans and grading specifications
- May operate equipment as needed.

- Starting wage of $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Must be willing to be away from home for up to 3 weeks at a time, sometimes as much as 75% (per diem pay for food and other expenses provided)
- Occasional prevailing wage jobs
- Must have a valid driver's license
