Position Description: The Mutual Assistance Network (MAN) has an opening for the position of Data Entry Specialist. MAN is a private nonprofit, community development corporation dedicated to the growth and well-being of the Del Paso Heights, North Sacramento, and Arden Arcade neighborhoods The Data entry specialist will conduct all aspects of collecting, entering, editing, and submitting program data to help manage program and community outcomes and assist monitoring of program elements.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Enters case management and program data in a timely and accurate manner into the State data system
- Oversees the maintenance of clean and complete participant and site-specific data.
- Complies with or assists in the compilation of statistical information for special reports.
- Assists in developing and maintaining filing system
- Utilizes computerized data entry equipment and various word processing, spreadsheet and file maintenance programs to enter, store and/or retrieve information as requested or necessary and summarizes data in preparation of standardized reports.
- Provides support to Skilled Professional Medical Personnel working with the Program.
- Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA regulations.

- Provide linguistically and culturally sensitive care to promote the reduction of cultural barriers to all the community while acknowledging and addressing personal biases as they arise.
- Ability to work in and lead a team approach with diverse sectors of the community, including but not limited to, government officials, residents, children, parents, school personnel, and community-based providers.
- Has awareness regarding race, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity and other cultural identities, with an ability to communicate and collaborate with diverse workgroups and serve families with diverse economic, social, racial, and cultural backgrounds with dignity, humility, and respect.
- A willingness to gain cultural understanding necessary to work sensitively and appropriately with a diverse population.
- Familiarity with the community and neighborhood where MAN is located and surrounding communities and neighborhoods.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and computer skills: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Comfort working with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Clearance of a fingerprint background
Compensation: $23-25
