Position Summary
The essential duties of this position will be to ensure only good quality product is being produced and packaged. This position will assist with the loading and packaging of product onto pallets to be wrapped and placed into inventory. This position will occasionally involve the use of a forklift to move palletized product. Also, this role is tasked with general plant orderliness, clean-up, and basic equipment maintenance throughout the day. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Must be detail, safety, and quality orientated; careful attention to detail is required.
- Understand units of measure and be able to perform general mathematical equations.
- This position requires a lot of bending, twisting, and reaching while standing.
- Must be able to work quickly, while standing, in an extremely fast faced environment.
- Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, 80 pounds on occasion.
- Ability to work independently.
- Willing and able to work overtime and handle varying work hours.
- Prior mechanical experience or being mechanically inclined (i.e. capable of recognizing machine issues and irregularities) is preferred.
- Previous forklift experience/ certification is a plus.
