Role Summary:
The Associate Account Maintenance Specialist – Fees and Reconciliation is an integral part of our team, responsible for analyzing and reconciling account balances at our Trust Company. This role is time-sensitive and critical, as it impacts various departments. The specialist will coordinate with relevant departments to resolve any identified concerns, manage the creation and confirmation of client profiles, and provide support for statement inquiries. This position requires collaboration with multiple departments both within and outside of operations.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and reconcile financial activity in Trust Company accounts daily
- Develop and implement standard processes for reviewing and accessing cash activities.
- Analyze data from multiple sources.
- Respond to statement-related questions from client relationship managers (CRMs) and Plan Sponsors, especially during audit and filing deadlines.
- Establish client profiles based on contact data and plan provisions received during the client onboarding process.
- Confirm plans are ready to trade (RTT) through multiple platform reviews.
- Manage the monthly fee process, including system review, reconciliation, and forecasting.
- provide monthly reconciliation on the fee general ledger accounts.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, or similar field.
- Entry level (0-2 years) experience with financial analysis and reconciliation.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, specifically with Excel
- Ability to spot discrepancies and provide attention to detail.
- Ability to handle pressure, prioritize, and multitask during a business day.
- Ability to work flexible hours between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

The salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this role. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus, whereby total compensation may exceed this range depending on individual and/or company performance.
Base Salary Range: $47,120 - $70,680
