Role Summary:
Mutual of America’s Summer Internship Program provides college students with hands-on corporate experience working with meaningful projects and assignments. Throughout the 6-week program, interns will not only have direct guidance from experienced leaders in their assigned departments but can have the opportunity to attend training classes and planned events with other interns.
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Help write, edit and proofread internal communications, including newsletters, email announcements, intranet updates and employee spotlights.
- Metrics and Measurement: Support tracking, analyzing and reporting key metrics via PoliteMail software to measure the effectiveness of communications.
- Platform Management: Assist in maintaining and updating Company Intranet, ensuring content is accurate, up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various business units (including HR, Admin Ops, Technology, Digital Marketing, etc.) to gather insights, support key Company initiatives and ensure consistency and alignment for their communications needs.
- Communication Analysis: Provide feedback on the effectiveness of internal communications strategies based on tracked metrics.
Required Qualifications:
- A rising Sophomore (graduating year 2028) or a rising Junior (graduating year 2027)
- Must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.4
- Work 4 days onsite (M-Th)
