Role Summary:
Mutual of America’s Summer Internship Program provides college students with hands-on corporate experience working with meaningful projects and assignments. Throughout the 6-week program, interns will not only have direct guidance from experienced leaders in their assigned departments but can have the opportunity to attend training classes and planned events with other interns.
Within the Technology Division there are four teams one could join:

Within the Technology Division there are four teams one could join:
- Help Desk & Support
- Assist with the Tech Bar
- Setup and ship new equipment
- Assist with new hire setup
- Troubleshooting issues for users
- Install software packages
- Assist with imaging devices to deploy to users
- Prepare documents for knowledge base
- Assist with inventory
- Product Management
- Daily interaction with Product Owners and Product Managers
- Assist product team leads with Dashboard metrics and reporting
- Support data clean-up for missing data in Reporting inventory
- Demonstrate understanding of OKRs and KPIs for performance measurement
- Recommend proposed solutions and/or enhancements to improve and optimize processes, workflows, performance, and systems.
- Data Management and Governance
- Assist with monitoring Qlik environments - review Qlik Environment monitoring applications to identify any potential issues. Review reload activity for any anomalies.
- Perform data analysis on data and set/maintain alerts - use Qlik and/ or Excel to analyze datasets created for Citizen Developer initiative and setup/maintain alerts based on predefined thresholds.
- Create process for Report Inventory Maintenance - Review current inventory to make sure it represents the reports available in the environment. Make adjustments as needed and setup a process for ensuring the inventory is always up to data.
- Document Data Governance processes and produce / maintain training materials - review current Data Governance processes and documentation to make sure they are up to date. Maintain set of training materials related to Data Governance efforts.
- Maintain data governance backlog - work with data governance management to maintain well groomed backlog of activities.
- Help maintain reference data - review current reference datasets, script updates when necessary and work those into production using the established Change Management processes.
- Integration Technology
- Review and enhance existing documentation including examples by role.
- Review documentation from Boomi, create recommendation of scope for a potential Citizen Developer Program and create an executable framework for the program.
- Address validation project discovery, Sandboxing, recommendations and documentation in the Boomi development environment. Create sample address validation API and sample code for use cases of this API.
- Hackathon - work with training and others involved resources to construct this year's Hackathon.
- A rising Sophomore (graduating year 2028) or a rising Junior (graduating year 2027)
- Must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.4
- Work 4 days onsite (M-Th)
- Can work full-time for the duration of the 6-week program:
- Hourly pay rate of $18
