About the Team
MUVIQ is a global pioneer in the research, design, and manufacturing of critical drive systems for various industries. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Test Engineer to join our engineering team.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting mechanical tests, troubleshooting, and ensuring the performance and quality of components, products, or systems.
You will work closely with our test engineers to set up and maintain mechanical testing equipment, collect and analyze data, and support product development and manufacturing.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with component testing, basic wiring skills, and basic fabrication and machining.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mechanical testing on components and products according to test protocols and industry standards.
- Set up, calibrate, and operate test equipment.
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the equipment used for testing.
- Data acquisition, monitoring, and analysis to support product development and manufacturing.
- Evaluate failed components from tests as well as field return parts.
- Fabricate and/or machine minor brackets or fixtures as needed to support testing.
- Follow safety procedures and industry regulations during testing operations.
- Travel to customers to set up and/or perform tests when required.
- General building support to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance.
