Cleaner/Swamper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are hygienic and welcoming. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and a commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties in assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and break rooms, ensuring all surfaces are disinfected.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow established safety procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Respond promptly to requests for cleaning services from staff or management.
• Conduct periodic deep cleaning tasks as required.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights as needed.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and management.
