We are searching for Certified Fitness Trainers to join our planet! In this position, you will be responsible for running the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF). This includes assisting new members in the achievement of their fitness goals by designing a simple workout program and instructing them on the proper use of equipment. Other responsibilities include creating a positive member experience and providing a friendly & beneficial level of training to Planet Fitness members & guests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Positive & Upbeat attitude!
- Creating the class schedule which includes member orientation and individual classes where programs are designed specifically for members.
- Proactively engage with members on the club floor regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to safely use the equipment.
- Help to promote our Judgement Free Zone.
- Be readily available for members when classes are not in session.
- Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assisting them with any questions or concerns as they check in
- Be a team player!
Physical Demands of the Certified Fitness Trainer role:
- Continual standing & walking during shift.
- Moving about in different positions, including lifting, bending and twisting
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
Compensation
$17.00 per hour, Quarterly Bonus, Education Reimbursement
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Punctuality & reliability is a must
- Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
- CPR/AED Certified (if not, training to be provided by Planet Fitness)
- Personal training experience preferred.
Salary : $17
