Full-time, 40 hours weekly (2nd shift), including weekends as needed

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

SUMMARY:

MV Ventures is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual responsible for all aspects of the custodial program at Viking Lakes Innovation Center. In addition to the daily cleanliness and general upkeep of the facility, this individual will be tasked with developing an efficient and effective custodial program that will extend to other commercial properties in our portfolio. The vision for this position is more than that of a standard custodian as this individual’s growth has the opportunity to mirror that of the entire MV Ventures portfolio.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• General cleaning of upkeep of building common areas and tenant suites.
• Waste hauling, trash pick up and general upkeep of the exterior common and parking areas.
• Ordering, stocking and general organization of all cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Respond to tenant requests related to cleaning and general maintenance.
• Special project coordination and periodical cleaning by outside contractors, as needed.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures and routine cleaning schedules for property.
• Provide event coverage, as needed.
• Future management and hiring of custodial staff

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this role successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• At least three (3) years of experience in the cleaning/custodial field.
• Preferred site lead or supervisory experience.
• Preferred experience in customer service and interaction.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and OSHA regulations.
• Basic understanding of typical cleaning methods and best practices.
• Comfortability and experience in working with basic tools and equipment needed to complete duties.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 30 lbs. Will be on your feet and mobile frequently, both inside and outside of buildings.
