- Manage front desk operations, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients and visitors.
- Oversee medical scheduling, including appointment bookings and confirmations while maintaining an accurate and consistent schedule.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with mental health staff to facilitate efficient patient flow and service delivery, enhancing the overall patient experience.
- Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining patient records and managing office supplies accurately and consistently.
- Work closely with other front desk staff, providing guidance on best practices in patient service and the importance of punctuality and follow-through in their roles.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
- Monitor office operations to identify areas for improvement, implementing necessary changes to continuously enhance service quality.
Skills
- Proven experience in mental health office management.
- Familiarity with Medicare processes and insurance verification procedures.
- Proficient in medical scheduling systems, TherapyNotes a Plus.
- Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and a steadfast commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and a consistent approach.
